Michaela Goomishian, MOT, OTR/L
TEAM LEAD / OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
I grew up in the upper Kennebec Valley of Maine and recently moved to the Carrabassett Valley region with my husband. My childhood dream was to be an OT when I grew up and I am so grateful to be living that dream now! I received my Master’s of Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern Maine in 2021 and my Bachelors in Social and Behavioral Science 2020.
I have worked with clients aged 0-104 and have loved supporting individuals achieve their goals across the lifespan. My love for working with the pediatric population is rooted in the creative, playful nature of helping little ones achieve big things. I have experience in both out-patient and school-based pediatric services supporting individuals with ASD, ADHD, visual-perceptual deficits, developmental delays, social-emotional challenges, executive dysfunctions, sensory processing differences, and more! I believe in using a neurodiversity affirming, wholistic and team-based approach with children and their families to maximize success and growth. I am so grateful to have found a profession that I am passionate about and that allows me the privilege of connecting with and helping so many amazing kids and families.
In my free time outside of the OT world, you can find me out sailing, hiking, whitewater rafting, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. I am so excited to be working at Pride Pediatric Therapy helping children and families in the area reach their potential!

CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER
I’m a native to Franklin County so likely a familiar face to many. Aside from being a wife and Mom, I enjoy having BBQs with my family, playing video games, and watching documentaries. I absolutely run on Dunkin iced coffee. I’m so excited to be part of this team and for the opportunity to grow and excel with Pride Pediatric Therapy.

Taylor Lewis, COTA/L
PATIENT CARE & CULTURE COORDINATOR / OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT
I grew up in Central Maine and attended the OTA program at Kennebec Valley Community College. After graduating, I practiced OT in Southern Maine working mostly in acute rehab settings. I moved to Franklin County four years ago to be closer to family. In my career I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds. I have enjoyed helping people reach their full potential! One of my favorite things about working in pediatrics is that you get to creatively work on the skills needed to be successful.
When I am not at work you can find me spending time with my two dogs or at my aesthetics practice. I love to dance, craft, and bake.

Jessica Delong
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT
I was born in Idaho and raised in Maine. After earning my Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1997, I moved to Florida, where I spent approximately 15 years working in a variety of occupational therapy settings throughout the Jacksonville and Tampa Bay areas. During that time, both of my children were born Josh (22) and Sienna (19). I also practiced in Oklahoma for over 13 years before returning to Maine to be closer to family.
I bring nearly 30 years of experience in occupational therapy, with a strong passion and specialization in pediatrics. My certifications and training include SOS Feeding Therapy, TalkTools Oral Motor Skills, Therapeutic Listening, sensory integration programs, trauma-informed care, primitive reflex integration, and handwriting development, among others.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my rescue dog, TuSox, exploring the outdoors, and being with family and friends. I also enjoy reading, movies, and staying active.

Aerica Girard
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
I grew up in Franklin County, Maine, where my curiosity about people and fascination with how the brain works began at a young age. That curiosity led me to pursue a degree in psychology, where I worked in homes supporting children with mental and physical disabilities. Those early experiences sparked my passion for supporting children with autism and other developmental differences, ultimately leading me to occupational therapy.
I earned my Master’s Degree in OT from the University of Southern Maine and have spent the past 17+ years supporting children and families across early intervention, outpatient pediatrics, and school-based settings. I have experience working with children with developmental delays, sensory processing differences, emotional regulation challenges, and physical and cognitive disabilities.
My approach is family-centered, strengths-based, and rooted in evidence-based practice. I believe in collaboration and meeting each child exactly where they are.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our two children, along with our two cats and two dogs. I enjoy learning, traveling, hiking, museums, nature, ancient sites, stargazing, and wildlife. I continue to explore health and wellness through yoga, meditation, gardening, music, art, light, and dance. I am grateful to be part of PPT and excited to support children and families as they grow, learn, and thrive.
Our Mission
Our mission is to offer families a warm and supportive environment where they can learn about their child’s developmental needs and how to nurture their child’s capacity to succeed. Our aim is to help children reach their potential by treating the whole child using techniques learned from experience and directed by evidence-based practices and working to help them and their families understand that their speed or diagnosis does not determine who they are.
We honor that each child is a member of a family unit where parents, siblings, and extended family each influence the child’s experiences. We guide and support families who are struggling with understanding their next steps to getting the services they need for their children. We are here to help develop the skills needed for prosperous futures for both the families and their child. Our philosophy centers on the idea that children learn about their environment and how to exist within their environment by playing and interacting with their surroundings. We believe it is critical to make therapy as fun and motivating as possible.
We envision a space that is open to all and provides an educational haven for parents and caregivers by giving the community direct access to the latest research and developments in pediatric habilitative and rehabilitative services and we work from a practice model that both families and therapists love. We strive to continually improve our clinic to be a collaborative and state-of-the-art facility that provides resources to families and other health professionals in the area in regard to pediatric therapy services, family assistance and equipment/adaptation needs. We value honesty and creativity and we respect the clients, therapists, partners and community we serve.
